Biography 

A star named Arsen Mirzoyan burst onto the scene in the debut season of the talent show "Golos Krainy". Back then, the Ukrainian singer with Armenian roots together with his mentor Stas Piekha failed to win, but his popularity remains high to this day. In 2020 the artist was awarded the honorary title Honoured Artist of Ukraine. The childhood and youth of the performer were far from romantic musical vocation. Even after finishing school, Arsen decided to get a profile education of engineer of non-ferrous metallurgy in Engineering Training and Research Institute in Zaporizhzhia in 1995. Those were difficult times: Ukraine was learning independence and everyone was thinking about where to earn a penny. There was no talk about any creative work.

But the rudiments of love for the stage were still present in Arsen. The guy was a member of a student KVN team, in 1998 he started singing in an amateur rock band, whose fans were limited to the limits of one yard. Then he joined the music band Totem.

Immediately after graduation, Arsen Mirzoyan went to work on a technical speciality at the Motor Sich plant, which specialized in the production, maintenance and repair of gas-turbine aircraft engines. But soon he followed his fellow KVN-friends to work at Zaporizhstal, where he stayed for 12 years.

Nowadays, the life of Arsen Mirzoyan has little to do with technical activities. But the "plant" past gives more masculinity and manliness to the image of the artist, and at the same time, sex appeal to women. Therefore, Mirzoyan's concert is always popular with the fair sex.

Career

Certainly, we cannot say that the stage was a dream for Arsen Mirzoyan since childhood. But the guy still had some inclinations. He enjoyed acting, singing, writing poetry, joking. There was no particular aim to break into the show business at any cost. This is perhaps the reason why his work is real, coming from the heart and not just based on scandals and hype.

Arsen started his musical path in his student days. The band Totem has already been mentioned above. But it often changed members and with them the direction of creativity. Over time, the group was renamed "Baburka", and Arsen Mirzoyan became its ideological and creative force.

The "Baburka" collective was not a flat project. On the contrary, Arsen Mirzoyan boldly took part in concerts and various festivals, such as "Tavriyski igru", "Chervona Ruta", "Jemchujina Sezona" and even in the programme "Svija krov" on the M1 TV channel.

The real fame came to the guy during his participation in the talent show "Golos Krainy" in 2011. But few people know that about 10 years before that the guy had serious hearing problems and may have lost it completely. Come to think of it, Ukrainians might not have known about such a talented musician. Now the 2021 poster of Arsen Mirzoyan attracts many eyes, and the number of those wishing to get to the concert is in the thousands.

Arsen Mirzoyan and his mentor Stas Piekha were never going to win the TV show, but they certainly won the love of the Ukrainians. Throughout the show, the singer sang covers of famous hits. When he reached the semi-finals, he decided to sing his composition Night. After the show, Arsen signed a contract with Universal Music, which transfers the rights to the label for 5 years.

To this day, Mirzoyan's concert attracts thousands of people from all over Ukraine. His creative work is admired and inspired. And the story of his ascent to the music Olympus makes us believe that each of us can do anything.
 

Private life

Participation in "Golos Krainy" has changed Arsen Mirzoyan's life by 180 degrees. And this applies not only to the professional sphere but also to his personal life. The man came to the project with his wife. But he finished his participation with another woman in his heart — Tonya Matvienko.

Arsen and Tonya became very close friends on the project. The girl had no plans at all to be a divorcée. Two years after the project, Arsen decided everything for himself and filed for divorce. At first, the star couple, to avoid rumours, hid their relationship and only with time began to exhibit photos together. But they still could not hide from the condemning statements. On social networks, accusations and even curses were poured on Tonya.

Despite all the negativity, Arsen and Toni had a daughter in 2016. She was named after her grandmother, Nina. A year and a half later, the couple had their wedding. Oleg Vinnik, the incomparable and most important blonde in the country, was the host of the ceremony.

From a previous marriage, Arsen has two sons Artem and Vlad. Tonya Matvienko also has a daughter Ulyana.

Discography

Arsen Mirzoyan has four studio albums under his belt. Still, participation in "Golos Krainy" gave a powerful impetus to the guy and motivation to develop his creativity. His debut album "Pugovitcu" was released after he participated in the project at the end of 2011. It includes ten songs of his own, plus a bonus composition in duet with Tonia Matvienko, entitled "Ivan Kupala".
The second album had to wait two years for the admirers of the performer. The release of “Neydobnie krovati” took place in 2013. Here, listeners could enjoy 10 compositions by Arsen and the collaboration with Alexander Ponomarev "Kogda vesna pridet ne znayu".

Arsen Mirzoyan added “Bumajniy sneg” to his album collection in 2016. Traditionally, the work consisted of 10 compositions, including a duet work this time with Alexey Molchanov - a famous car racer.
